If the anti-vaping campaign is triumphant it will undoubtedly force people back to smoking and keep others from making the switch. It will cost lives.
With a switch rate almost double that of other nicotine replacement therapies (NRTs), vaping is unquestionably a game changer.
We are spending considerable sums of money both on fighting the so-called war on drugs and on incarceration. We have not dampened demand or production of “bad” drugs in the least. We are enriching criminal organizations and we are putting people at greater risk than need be simply for their choice of using one drug over another.
